Squash courts have an economics problem unique among racquet sports: utilisation tends to be peaky (early mornings and weekday evenings) with a narrow regular base. Premium slot pricing covers the venue if you can keep peak slots booked; off-peak is a constant marketing problem. Strikee handles peak / off-peak pricing per court, surfaces utilisation in real time, and tracks the recurring weekly bookings that keep premium courts viable.

Member ledgers matter more for squash than for higher-volume court sports. A serious squash player books the same court at the same time week after week, runs a tab, and settles monthly. Strikee's credit ledger keeps the running balance visible to your manager so the conversation about an overdue tab happens at the front desk, not via a difficult phone call three weeks late.

Coaching is the other premium revenue stream — and squash coaches typically have a fixed student roster rather than open lessons. Strikee tracks coaching slots by coach in the team list, rolls into a per-coach payout report, and surfaces student retention in the customer profile so you can tell when a student is slowing down before they fully drop off.

A typical weekday at a 2-court club

6:00 AM: regulars on Court 1 (recurring weekly booking). 7:30 AM: open peak slot fills with a walk-in pair. 12:30 PM: coaching session on Court 2 (coach attribution: Rohan). 6:00 PM: members' singles on both courts. 9:00 PM: two credit tabs settled via UPI. End of day: 11 sessions, 86% peak-slot utilisation, one coach payout queued.

What we're not yet

World Squash Federation rating integration, formal squash ladder tournaments with seeded brackets, and integrated court-booking marketplaces are on the roadmap but not shipping today. Slot bookings, member ledger, coaching attribution, and cashbook close are the public-beta build's core.
