How tennis clubs run on Strikee

Membership tiers, court bookings, and coaching on one ledger.

Tennis clubs run a hybrid of three revenue lines — court bookings (peak / off-peak), memberships (monthly / annual), and coaching slots — and most software handles one well and the other two poorly. Strikee unifies all three on the same customer record: the same player who books a court Saturday morning is the member paying their annual fee in March and the student in the Tuesday-evening coaching slot. The slot board surfaces court utilisation; the customer profile surfaces lifetime spend across all three streams.

Peak-hour analytics tell you when to push memberships vs walk-ins. If your 7-10 PM weekday slots are 95% full at peak pricing, you're leaving money on the table — bumping rates or adding a coaching block makes sense. If they're 60%, you don't have a pricing problem; you have a marketing problem, and the retention dashboard shows you which members are slipping so you know who to call before they drop off.

Coaching attribution matters for tennis more than most sports. Each coach has their own student roster, their own session count, and a payout share that needs reconciling at month-end. Strikee tracks the coaching slot against the coach in the team list and rolls into a per-coach payout report so settlement isn't a Sunday-afternoon scramble.

Worked example

A typical Saturday at a 3-court club

7:00 AM: coaching slot on Court 1 (coach attribution: Anita). 8:30 AM: members' singles on Courts 2 and 3. 10:00 AM: walk-in court rental on Court 1 (peak rate). 4:00 PM: ladies' league round-robin across all 3 courts. 7:00 PM: settle two member tabs via UPI. End of day: 14 sessions, two coach payouts queued, peak utilisation up 8% vs last Saturday.

ATP / ITF rating sync, integrated court-booking marketplaces, and tournament draw seeding by national ranking are on the roadmap but not shipping today. Booking, membership tracking, coaching attribution, credit, and daily cashbook are the public-beta build's strengths.
