How pickleball arenas run on Strikee

A fast-growing sport that rewards a software-first venue.

Pickleball is the fastest-growing court sport in India, but the venues running it are caught between casual walk-in demand and an emerging league / coaching community that wants regular slots locked in. Strikee handles both on the same booking grid — 45-minute slots, mixed casual and recurring reservations, peak / off-peak pricing — so a single court can serve a walk-in foursome at 10 AM and a 7 PM league match without your manager juggling two systems.

The community side is where pickleball venues differentiate. Coaching sessions, doubles ladders, beginner clinics, and round-robin nights all bring different customer flows. Strikee's customer profiles unify all of this: the same player whose paddle you rent on Sunday is the player paying their monthly tab on Friday, and the retention dashboard shows whether your league players are returning week-on-week so you can intervene before a flight folds.

Paddle and ball POS sits inside the booking flow. A standard court rental can include paddle hire, fresh balls, refreshments, and an instructor add-on — all on one bill, all reconciled to one cashbook entry. Customer credit covers the regulars who run a tab; the watchlist surfaces overdue accounts before peak hour so the awkward conversation happens at 6 PM, not three Saturdays later.

Worked example

A typical evening at a 4-court arena

5:00 PM: open play hour on courts P-01 and P-02 — three walk-in foursomes register. 6:00 PM: ladies' league round-robin on all 4 courts. 8:00 PM: private coaching slot on P-03; group session on P-04. 9:30 PM: regulars settle their week's tabs via UPI. Lock day: 16 sessions logged, paddle inventory updated, two new customer profiles created from the open-play hour, end-of-day cashbook matches till.

Beta honest

What we're not yet

DUPR-style ratings integration, formal ladder seeding for ranked tournaments, and per-player skill tagging are on the roadmap but not shipping today. For everything else — slot bookings, peak / off-peak pricing, POS with paddle and ball inventory, customer credit, multi-court utilisation, daily cashbook — the public-beta build handles a 4-court arena's full Saturday without breaking a sweat.

Common questions about Strikee for pickleball

Do you handle doubles bookings with multiple players?
Yes — the booker is the named customer; player count is recorded against the slot. Payment can be against the booker, or split across all 4 players via the split-payment flow.
How does paddle rental tracking work?
Paddles live in the item table as a rentable category. Each rental is a line item on the court bill, and stock counts update so you know what's available before peak hour.
Can I set a single rate per court in beta?
Yes — each court has a base rate the slot board uses for every booking. Per-time-band peak pricing is on the v1.1 roadmap.
What's the catch on the ₹399/mo beta price?
No catch. Price is locked for the first 50 clubs joining public beta — no per-court fees, no transaction fees, no surcharges.
