Joy spent two years running a snooker club in Gujarat — chalking cues, settling khaata at midnight, and reconciling a cashbook that never quite matched the till. The software on the market was built for gyms and salons, or for Western booking-first businesses that assume every customer pays upfront. None of it understood how an Indian club actually runs: credit ledgers, walk-ins, per-table pricing, and a paper notebook that's still the source of truth.
So he built Strikee — bookkeeping-first software for the way tier-2, -3, and -4 clubs across India really operate. Sessions, cashbook, customer credit, and tournaments in one place, in plain language, on a phone an owner can actually use behind the counter.
Strikee is still early and built in the open from Mysore. Joy works directly with club owners who uses strikee — over WhatsApp, most days — and ships based on what owners actually ask for, not a roadmap drawn up in a boardroom.
